Casio Protrek merupakan jawaban bagi mereka yang memiliki kegemaran olahraga outdoor dan adventure. Casio membuat Protrek sebagai lini produk yang mengakomodir para petualang. Protrek merupakan jam digital yang berukuran besar namun tetap nyaman digunakan dan mudah dibaca.
Casio juga membenamkan fitur tough solar pada sebagian besar Protrek, sehingga membuat praktis, tidak perlu mengganti baterai. Tough Solar ialah sebuah mesin quartz buatan Casio yang sumber energinya berasal dari cahaya, baik cahaya lampu maupun matahari. Dengan adanya fitur ini pada Protrek, para petualang tidak akan dipusingkan dengan baterai, apalagi jika berada di tengah hutan atau diatas gunung, Protrek sangat bisa diandalkan.
Pada beberapa model Protrek, Casio juga menggunakan material titanium untuk band bracelet dan body. Material titanium ini membuat Protek semakin dapat diandalkan. Titanium merupakan salah satu jenis logam yang paling ringan dan lebih keras dari baja. Biasanya banyak dipakai untuk pembuatan sayap pesawat. Protrek yang menggunakan bahan titanium merupakan jam outdoor yang lengkap karena mempunyai fitur canggih, kuat, dan ringan.
