DIETRICH 1969 DIETRICH 1969 – Organic Time Companion (OTC) We know Emmanuel Dietrich for his classical register but today, he’s back with a more powerful design that expresses all the emotion and admiration that he feels for both nature and watchmaking, a “miniature landscape enshrined in the case middle”. For him, the universe is intimately linked to the forces of the living world and the passage of time. And it’s in a timepiece called OTC that his vision is concentrated: a “daily companion that ends up almost becoming one with our body”. Its unconventional shape plays with curves and volumes that draws its inspiration from nature and showcases an oval-shaped steel case coated with black PVD (48x 49 mm) and houses a self-winding movement. On its bezel, in bead-blasted steel and polished, a cross that bridges the dial is attached, a tangle of stylized branches where two green hands, representing leaves and displaying the hours and the minutes, are looped together. Nature conjured up by Emmanuel Dietrich has been brought back to the fore!
